To accelerate research into pediatric cancers on a European scale, Imagine for Margo has joined forces with KickCancer (Belgium) and Kriibskrank Kanner (Luxembourg) to create the Fight Kids Cancer initiative. In collaboration with ESF – European Science Foundation, this European consortium annually funds projects selected for their excellence by a committee of international experts. Since 2020, Fight Kids Cancer has funded 21 research projects to the tune of 14 million euros. Finally, since 2022, this consortium has been enlarged by the arrival of the Cris (Spain) and Kika (Netherlands) Foundations.

To mark this golden September, Fight Kids Cancer is launching a new call for projects, aimed at accelerating research and innovation in pediatric and adolescent brain tumors.

If you have a related research project on childhood brain cancers, please send us your letter of intent by October 17. It should be submitted directly to the ESF.

The children are counting on the mobilization of as many scientists as possible to find effective treatments for these high-risk cancers, which affect over 3,000 children in Europe, including around 500 in France, every year.
